Every Photo Has A Story

Every Photo Has a Story runs from Oct 30 through Nov 20, 2026 (EDT). Please submit your entry through the campaign page during this period. The submission time recorded on the campaign page will determine whether your entry is on time.

After entries close, our judging panel will review submissions from Nov 21–25. Winners will be announced on Nov 26–27 on ZimaOS’s official social media channels and the campaign page. From Nov 27 to Dec 4, we’ll send ZimaOS Plus license keys to participants with approved entries and contact hardware prize winners to arrange delivery.

Anyone with a public account can participate. There’s no minimum follower count or account age requirement.

To enter, publish an original public post during the campaign period that clearly relates to ZimaOS Photos or self-hosted photo libraries. Posts that simply repost official content or consist only of a brief comment, such as “Good app,” without a meaningful personal perspective are not eligible.

Submit your post link and email address through the campaign page, and include these hashtags: #ZimaSpace #ZimaOSPhotos.

Please keep your post public until Dec 4, 2026.

Story Reward

ZimaSpace will select three hardware prize winners based on the criteria listed below:

• 1st place: 1 × ZimaBoard 2 1664
• 2nd place: 1 × ZimaBoard 2 832
• 3rd place: 1 × ZimaBoard SE

Participation Reward

Each participant with an approved entry will receive one ZimaOS Plus lifetime membership. The participation reward is limited to one per person.

The Zima judging panel will give each qualifying entry careful consideration and select three hardware prize winners based on the following criteria:

• Authenticity and storytelling: 40%
• Relevance to ZimaOS Photos: 25%
• Usefulness and reproducibility: 20%
• Presentation and creativity: 15%

We look forward to seeing the different stories and ideas participants share. The panel will make its final selections based on these criteria.

Story Reward: Winners will be contacted by email between Nov 27 and Dec 4. To claim a prize, winners will need to:

1. Verify their entry: Reply to the notification using the email address submitted with their entry and include the social media handle associated with their post.
2. Provide shipping details: Once eligibility is verified, we’ll request the recipient’s name, full shipping address, and phone number. Please reply within seven days of receiving our email. If we don’t hear from you by then, the prize will be considered declined.

Participation Reward: Participants with an approved entry will receive their ZimaOS Plus lifetime membership license key by email by Dec 4, 2026. Please check your spam folder too.

If you have questions about prize delivery, please reply to the same email thread so we can keep the conversation together. To protect your privacy, please don’t post personal information or prize activation codes in public comments.

ZimaSpace covers standard shipping for physical prizes to supported destinations worldwide. Any local import duties or taxes are the winner’s responsibility. Shipping availability and details will be confirmed by email once the winner’s eligibility has been verified. Due to current logistics limitations, we may be unable to ship to Brazil, Vietnam, Russia, and island nations.

All license keys and codes must be redeemed by Dec 30, 2026.

By participating in Every Photo Has a Story, you confirm that you own or have permission to share the content you submit. You grant ZimaSpace permission to display, repost, and share your submitted content through official channels related to the event and community, including our website, social media, community platforms, and promotional materials.

You retain ownership of your original content. We’ll make reasonable efforts to credit the original creator and source.

We’ll treat the personal information you provide as confidential and use it only to administer the campaign, contact participants and winners, and arrange prize delivery. Please don’t share personal information or prize codes in public posts or comments.

Not at all. If you’ve already tried ZimaOS Photos, we’d be glad to hear about your hands-on experience. If you haven’t, you’re welcome to share your first impressions after taking a look at it, compare it with photo apps you’ve used, or talk about features you’d like to explore.

We welcome genuine, original posts related to ZimaOS Photos or self-hosted photo libraries.

Absolutely. You can start with how you manage your photos today—what feels challenging, what makes you curious about self-hosted photo libraries, or what you’d hope ZimaOS Photos could offer. You don’t need to install or use a self-hosted photo library first. Your own experiences and thoughts are very welcome.

We’d be glad to hear your photo story, whatever setup you use to manage your photos today. Choose the angle that feels right for you:

• Already using ZimaOS Photos: Share your experience, a photo story, a feature you like, or a suggestion for improvement.
• Familiar with or using another self-hosted photo library: Share your current experience, your first impressions of ZimaOS Photos, a comparison, or features you’d like to try. You don’t need to migrate your library first.
• New to self-hosted photo libraries: Share the challenges you face managing photos today and what you’d hope ZimaOS Photos could offer. You don’t need to install the app first.

Lots of options are welcome: videos, photo posts, longer write-ups, and community posts. You can share on YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, X, a blog, a forum, or another public platform. Posts in any language are welcome.

Yes. You’re welcome to share different posts on one platform or across several platforms. Qualifying entries will be considered in the same judging pool and assessed on their content quality.

Please note: The participation reward is limited to one per person, and multiple posts from the same participant count as one participant.
