1. What's included in the box?

If you purchase a ZimaBoard 2 832 or 1664 model, you'll receive:

• 1* ZimaBoard 2 with pre-installed ZimaOS
• 1* 12 V / 5 A power adapter 
• 1* SATA Y-cable
• 1* Cooling fan

2. Can I build a NAS with it?

Absolutely! With just a cable and a drive, ZimaBoard 2 becomes a compact personal NAS. ZimaOS simplifies RAID setup, file sync, and app deployment in minutes.

3. What else do I need to complete a NAS setup?

You're covered with board and power, but you'd likely want:

• Hard drives or SSDs for storage
  
• Optional: PCIe NVMe card for faster storage or expansion
• Good power adapter (12V / 5A included) – supports up to two HDDs. If you plan to connect more drives or external devices, we recommend using a 12V / 10A adapter for extra headroom and stable performance.
• Network cable and Ethernet switch 
• Case or enclosure (for airflow), you can 3D print one or consider using our rack tray.
