ZimaBoard 2 Goes Straight to GRUB Instead of BIOS
The user tried multiple monitors and keyboards but the system kept entering GRUB rather than firmware setup.
The Fix Reported in the Thread: Press Esc
The original poster later marked the issue solved after discovering that the Esc key opened BIOS. Start pressing Esc immediately after power-on rather than waiting for GRUB to appear.
If Esc Still Does Not Work
Use a wired keyboard directly connected to the board, remove unnecessary USB devices, reboot fully rather than warm-restarting, and begin pressing Esc as soon as the system powers on. UEFI firmware behavior varies by hardware; the UEFI specifications provide the underlying firmware standard.
Before Changing BIOS Settings
Record existing settings before modifying boot, virtualization, or storage options. For current hardware information see the ZimaBoard 2 product page and the ZimaOS overview.
